Customer Report
Customer said that the fan would just cut off after hours of operation. There was no reason or cause for it to just shut off and had to be used on the highest setting.
The Old Fan
The fan appeared to shutter upon input of voltage of 4.5v - 6v indicating that one of the coils inside the brushless fan had gone out and that the magnetic field was not in proper order to spin and operate the fan.
Fan was Replaced
ARCTIC P12 Pro PST - Powerful Premium Fan, 120 mm PWM Fan, 600-3000 RPM
Bench Diagnostics performed
General testing of the circuit board was conducted and finding all things were benign.
