Terms of Service

Effective Date: July 14, 2026

1. Acceptance of These Terms

Welcome to TechRescue and TechRescueMe.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the websites, products, electronics-repair services, technical-support services, diagnostic services, installation services, and other related services provided by TechRescue and TechRescueMe.

Our websites include:

  • https://www.TechRescueMe.com
  • https://www.Tech-Rescue.co

TechRescue and TechRescueMe are collectively referred to in these Terms as “TechRescue,” “TechRescueMe,” “we,” “us,” or “our.” Our websites, products, repair services, technical services, and related offerings are collectively referred to as the “Services.”

By visiting our websites, purchasing a product, requesting an estimate, authorizing a repair, submitting a device, making a payment, or otherwise using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not access or use our Services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to independently purchase products, authorize repairs, or enter into an agreement with TechRescue or TechRescueMe.

A person under 18 may use our Services only with the knowledge, supervision, and authorization of a parent or legal guardian.

By using our Services, you represent that:

  • You are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement;
  • You are the lawful owner of the device or property submitted for service, or you have the owner’s authorization;
  • The information you provide is accurate and complete; and
  • Your use of our Services complies with applicable law.

We may request identification, proof of ownership, account verification, or other documentation before accepting a device, completing a repair, releasing property, or processing certain transactions.

3. Products and Services

TechRescue and TechRescueMe may provide:

  • Computers, electronics, accessories, replacement parts, and related products
  • Computer, phone, tablet, gaming-console, and electronics repairs
  • Hardware and software diagnostics
  • Device cleaning and maintenance
  • Installation and replacement of parts
  • Data-transfer or data-recovery assistance
  • Virus and malware removal
  • Operating-system installation or upgrades
  • Networking and technical-support services
  • Website, technology, consulting, or related business services
  • Other products or services announced through our websites, advertisements, estimates, invoices, or communications

Product descriptions, photographs, specifications, compatibility information, and service descriptions are provided to the best of our knowledge. However, minor errors, differences, or omissions may occur.

We reserve the right to:

  • Correct errors or inaccuracies;
  • Change product or service descriptions;
  • Limit quantities;
  • Substitute functionally comparable parts when authorized;
  • Discontinue products or services;
  • Refuse work that cannot be performed safely or lawfully; and
  • Cancel an order or service request when necessary.

Product, part, and service availability is not guaranteed.

4. Estimates and Diagnostic Services

Any estimate provided before diagnosis is preliminary unless expressly identified as a final written quote.

A diagnostic inspection may reveal additional damage, required parts, compatibility issues, security restrictions, liquid damage, corrosion, prior repair attempts, or other conditions that were not reasonably visible beforehand.

TechRescue or TechRescueMe may revise an estimate when:

  • Additional problems are discovered;
  • The requested repair requires additional parts or labor;
  • Product or parts prices change;
  • The condition of the device differs from the customer’s description;
  • A previous unauthorized repair has caused additional damage; or
  • Another service becomes reasonably necessary to complete the requested work.

We will ordinarily request authorization before performing work that materially exceeds an approved estimate.

Diagnostic fees, inspection fees, service-call fees, travel charges, and labor already performed are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing or required by law.

Payment of a diagnostic fee does not guarantee that a device can be repaired.

5. Authorization to Inspect and Repair Devices

By submitting a device or other property to TechRescue or TechRescueMe, you authorize us to perform the inspection, testing, troubleshooting, disassembly, diagnosis, and repair work reasonably necessary to evaluate or complete the requested service.

This authorization may include permission to:

  • Power the device on and off;
  • Open or disassemble the device;
  • Remove or replace components;
  • Connect the device to diagnostic equipment or networks;
  • Install temporary testing components;
  • Access operating-system functions;
  • Run diagnostic software;
  • Test cameras, microphones, speakers, ports, controls, storage devices, or network connections;
  • Use login credentials voluntarily provided by the customer; and
  • Perform reasonable post-repair testing.

We will make reasonable efforts to limit access to customer information to what is necessary to diagnose, repair, test, or complete the authorized service.

You are responsible for informing us of any special restrictions, encryption, security settings, business confidentiality requirements, or sensitive information stored on the device before service begins.

6. Customer Data and Backups

You are responsible for backing up all important files, photographs, contacts, applications, account information, passwords, business records, and other data before submitting a device for diagnosis or repair.

Repair work may result in:

  • Data corruption or deletion;
  • Device resetting;
  • Operating-system reinstallation;
  • Software removal;
  • Loss of saved settings;
  • Loss of applications;
  • Loss of account access; or
  • Failure of a storage device that was already damaged or unstable.

Unless a separate written data-recovery or data-protection agreement has been accepted, TechRescue and TechRescueMe do not guarantee that customer data will be preserved or recoverable.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for the loss, alteration, corruption, disclosure, or destruction of data resulting from:

  • Preexisting device damage;
  • Hardware or storage failure;
  • Malware or ransomware;
  • Manufacturer defects;
  • Necessary repair procedures;
  • Operating-system failure;
  • Customer-provided software;
  • Encryption or forgotten passwords;
  • Power loss or electrical damage; or
  • Events outside our reasonable control.

Customers should remove highly sensitive, confidential, or unnecessary personal information from a device before submitting it for service whenever reasonably possible.

7. Passwords, Accounts, and Device Security

You may be asked to provide a temporary password, personal identification number, account credential, or other access information when reasonably necessary to test or repair a device.

You should change any password provided to us after the service is completed.

TechRescue and TechRescueMe will not request access to financial accounts, private communications, or unrelated personal accounts unless such access is specifically necessary for the authorized service and you have expressly approved it.

We may refuse to bypass activation locks, account security, encryption, anti-theft protections, or manufacturer security features without satisfactory proof of ownership and lawful authorization.

8. Parts and Replacement Components

Repairs may involve new, used, refurbished, aftermarket, original-equipment, or functionally comparable replacement parts, depending on availability, price, customer authorization, and the nature of the repair.

Replacement parts may differ slightly in:

  • Appearance;
  • Manufacturer;
  • Packaging;
  • Revision number;
  • Color;
  • Performance characteristics; or
  • Cosmetic condition.

When a particular type of part is required, it should be identified in the written estimate or service agreement.

Removed or replaced parts may be discarded, recycled, retained, or returned to the customer depending on the repair arrangement, supplier requirements, environmental rules, and customer request.

A request to retain replaced parts should be made before the repair begins.

9. Orders, Pricing, and Payments

Unless otherwise stated:

  • All prices are listed in United States dollars;
  • Applicable taxes, delivery fees, shipping charges, service-call fees, and other disclosed charges are additional;
  • Payment is due at the time of purchase or upon completion of the service;
  • Deposits or advance payments may be required for special-order parts or significant repair work; and
  • A device or product may be withheld until the outstanding balance is paid.

We may correct pricing, description, calculation, or inventory errors before completing a transaction.

We reserve the right to refuse, place on hold, or cancel an order or transaction because of:

  • Suspected fraud;
  • Payment failure;
  • Pricing errors;
  • Product unavailability;
  • Incorrect customer information;
  • Safety or legal concerns;
  • Supplier cancellation; or
  • Circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

When we cancel a transaction after receiving payment, the appropriate amount will be refunded, except for authorized non-refundable diagnostic fees, completed labor, special-order expenses, or other amounts properly earned or incurred.

10. Special-Order Products and Deposits

Parts or products ordered specifically for a customer may require a deposit or full payment before the order is placed.

Special-order deposits may be non-refundable after the item has been purchased from a supplier, shipped, customized, opened for installation, or otherwise committed to the customer’s repair.

If a special-order item is unavailable, canceled by the supplier, or cannot be reasonably obtained, we may issue a refund for the applicable unearned amount.

11. Shipping and Delivery

Delivery and shipping dates are estimates and are not guaranteed.

TechRescue and TechRescueMe are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Shipping carriers;
  • Weather;
  • Natural disasters;
  • Supplier delays;
  • Customs or transportation interruptions;
  • Incorrect customer addresses;
  • Labor disruptions;
  • Government actions; or
  • Other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.

Where permitted by law, responsibility for loss or damage passes to the customer when delivery is confirmed by the shipping carrier, unless the shipment was improperly addressed or packaged by TechRescue or TechRescueMe.

Customers should promptly report missing, damaged, incomplete, or incorrect deliveries.

12. Returns and Refunds

Product returns and refunds are governed by the TechRescue and TechRescueMe Return and Refund Policy in effect at the time of purchase. That policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Eligible products must be returned within the applicable return period;
  • Prior return authorization may be required;
  • Shipping and service charges are generally non-refundable;
  • Opened, installed, used, altered, damaged, or special-order products may be excluded from returns;
  • Diagnostic and labor charges already earned are non-refundable;
  • A restocking fee may apply; and
  • Refunds may be reduced for missing accessories, packaging, damage, or diminished value.

Nothing in these Terms limits any return or refund right that cannot legally be waived.

13. Repair Completion and Customer Pickup

We will make reasonable efforts to notify the customer when a repair is completed, declined, canceled, or ready for pickup.

Customers are responsible for:

  • Maintaining current contact information;
  • Responding to repair approvals or questions;
  • Paying the outstanding balance; and
  • Collecting their property within a reasonable period.

Devices or property that remain uncollected may be subject to storage fees when those fees have been disclosed in an estimate, invoice, service authorization, or pickup notice.

Property that remains abandoned after reasonable notice may be handled, stored, recycled, sold, or otherwise disposed of only as permitted by applicable law.

14. Repair and Service Warranties

Any repair warranty must be stated in writing on the applicable invoice, receipt, estimate, advertisement, or service agreement.

A repair warranty ordinarily applies only to:

  • The specific part installed;
  • The specific repair performed; and
  • The original customer and device identified on the service record.

Unless otherwise stated, a repair warranty does not cover:

  • Unrelated failures;
  • New damage occurring after service;
  • Accidental damage;
  • Liquid exposure;
  • Drops, impacts, or physical abuse;
  • Power surges or electrical damage;
  • Malware or software problems;
  • Customer modifications;
  • Unauthorized repairs;
  • Damage caused by incompatible accessories;
  • Manufacturer defects unrelated to the repair;
  • Normal wear and tear;
  • Cosmetic damage;
  • Data loss; or
  • A device that has been opened or altered after service.

Warranty service may require inspection and verification by TechRescue or TechRescueMe.

15. Manufacturer Warranties

Products covered by a manufacturer warranty may be subject to the manufacturer’s separate terms, exclusions, claims process, and remedies.

Manufacturer warranties are provided by the manufacturer and not by TechRescue or TechRescueMe unless we expressly state otherwise in writing.

A repair performed by an independent repair provider may affect a manufacturer warranty. Customers are responsible for reviewing their manufacturer warranty before authorizing service.

16. Disclaimer of Warranties

Except for any warranty expressly provided in writing, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services and products are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

TechRescue and TechRescueMe disclaim warranties that may otherwise arise by implication, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement, to the extent those warranties may legally be disclaimed.

We do not guarantee that:

  • Every device can be repaired;
  • A repair will restore a device to factory-new condition;
  • Replacement parts will be identical to original parts;
  • Data will be preserved or recovered;
  • A website will always be uninterrupted or error-free;
  • A product will be continuously available; or
  • A particular repair will resolve unrelated or undiscovered problems.

Some jurisdictions do not permit certain warranty exclusions. In those jurisdictions, the exclusions apply only to the extent permitted by law.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TechRescue and TechRescueMe will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages arising from or related to the use of our products or Services.

This includes, without limitation:

  • Loss of profits;
  • Loss of business;
  • Loss of revenue;
  • Loss or corruption of data;
  • Loss of personal files;
  • Loss of device use;
  • Business interruption;
  • Replacement-equipment costs;
  • Missed opportunities; or
  • Third-party claims.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from a particular product, transaction, or service will not exceed the amount the customer paid to TechRescue or TechRescueMe for the product or service giving rise to the claim.

These limitations do not apply where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.

18. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate contact, ownership, device, and payment information;
  • Disclose known damage, prior repairs, liquid exposure, or relevant device conditions;
  • Back up important data before service;
  • Remove illegal or unauthorized content from devices;
  • Maintain lawful licenses for software installed on your device;
  • Provide timely repair approvals or denials;
  • Pay authorized charges;
  • Collect completed property within a reasonable period; and
  • Use repaired devices and purchased products according to applicable instructions.

You are responsible for confirming that a product, accessory, service, or replacement part is suitable for your intended use before purchase or installation.

19. Prohibited Uses

You may not use our Services to:

  • Violate any law or regulation;
  • Submit stolen or unlawfully possessed property;
  • Obtain unauthorized access to another person’s device, network, account, or data;
  • Bypass lawful security or anti-theft protections without authorization;
  • Distribute malware, ransomware, spyware, or harmful code;
  • Interfere with our websites, systems, security, or business operations;
  • Provide false, deceptive, or misleading information;
  • Commit fraud or payment abuse;
  • Harass, threaten, or harm employees, contractors, customers, or other persons;
  • Infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights; or
  • Use our Services for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.

We may refuse or discontinue service when we reasonably suspect unlawful conduct, fraud, theft, abuse, or a threat to safety or security.

20. Website Accounts and Communications

When our websites permit account registration, appointment scheduling, messaging, or form submissions, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login information and activity.

You agree that we may communicate with you regarding:

  • Orders;
  • Appointments;
  • Repair status;
  • Estimates;
  • Payments;
  • Pickup notices;
  • Warranty matters;
  • Account security; and
  • Important changes to our Services.

Marketing communications may be sent when permitted by law. You may opt out of promotional messages, but you may continue to receive communications necessary to complete a transaction or service request.

21. Reviews, Photos, and Customer Content

You may voluntarily submit reviews, testimonials, comments, photographs, videos, or other content.

You retain ownership of your original content. However, when you intentionally submit content for publication or promotional use, you grant TechRescue and TechRescueMe a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, format, and distribute that content for the purpose for which it was submitted.

You represent that submitted content:

  • Is accurate to the best of your knowledge;
  • Does not violate another person’s rights;
  • Does not contain unlawful or malicious material; and
  • May lawfully be shared by you.

We may remove or decline to publish content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

22. Intellectual Property

The websites and business materials of TechRescue and TechRescueMe—including logos, names, graphics, designs, photographs, videos, text, layouts, advertisements, service descriptions, and original content—are owned by or licensed to TechRescue or TechRescueMe.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, republish, sell, distribute, display, or commercially exploit our intellectual property without prior written permission, except as permitted by law.

The TechRescue and TechRescueMe names and branding may not be used in a manner that falsely suggests sponsorship, endorsement, affiliation, or authorization.

23. Third-Party Websites and Services

Our websites or communications may contain links to third-party websites, payment processors, manufacturers, suppliers, social media platforms, or other services.

TechRescue and TechRescueMe do not control and are not responsible for:

  • Third-party content;
  • Privacy practices;
  • Security;
  • Availability;
  • Products;
  • Representations; or
  • Terms and policies.

Accessing a third-party service is at your own discretion and may be governed by separate terms.

24. Privacy

Our collection and use of Personal Information are governed by the TechRescue and TechRescueMe Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

By using our Services, you acknowledge that information may be collected, processed, retained, and disclosed as described in that policy.

25. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Customers should contact TechRescue or TechRescueMe before initiating a chargeback so that we have an opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue.

A chargeback does not eliminate responsibility for:

  • Products received;
  • Completed diagnostics;
  • Authorized labor;
  • Installed parts;
  • Shipping expenses;
  • Service-call charges; or
  • Other valid amounts owed.

We may provide invoices, estimates, service authorizations, communications, photographs, tracking records, diagnostic records, and related documentation when responding to a payment dispute.

26. Suspension or Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to some or all Services when reasonably necessary because of:

  • A violation of these Terms;
  • Nonpayment;
  • Fraud or suspected fraud;
  • Unlawful conduct;
  • Security concerns;
  • Harassment or threats;
  • Abuse of our return or warranty policies; or
  • Conduct that creates unreasonable risk to TechRescue, TechRescueMe, our customers, or others.

Termination does not eliminate obligations or payment responsibilities that arose before termination.

27. Events Beyond Our Control

TechRescue and TechRescueMe are not responsible for a delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including:

  • Severe weather;
  • Natural disasters;
  • Fire;
  • Flood;
  • Utility interruption;
  • Internet or telecommunications failure;
  • Supplier or carrier delays;
  • Labor disputes;
  • Government actions;
  • Epidemics or emergencies;
  • Theft or vandalism; or
  • Shortages of products, parts, materials, or transportation.

We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant delays and resume performance when reasonably possible.

28. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any legal proceeding arising from these Terms or the Services must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction and venue, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable consumer right or legal protection.

29. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law or removed to the minimum extent necessary.

The remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

30. No Waiver

A failure by TechRescue or TechRescueMe to enforce any provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce that provision later.

A waiver is effective only when made in writing by an authorized representative.

31. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with any applicable estimate, invoice, service authorization, warranty, Privacy Policy, Return and Refund Policy, and other written agreement, constitute the agreement between the customer and TechRescue or TechRescueMe regarding the applicable product or service.

When a signed written agreement directly conflicts with these general Terms, the signed agreement will control for that particular transaction.

32. Changes to These Terms

TechRescue and TechRescueMe may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in our Services, practices, technology, or legal obligations.

Revised Terms will be posted with an updated effective date.

Changes apply prospectively unless otherwise permitted by law. Your continued use of our Services after revised Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
